Executive Coaching

Executive Coaching has become a key resource for both emerging and experienced leaders.

So what makes a great leader?  You can recognize a capable leader by looking at those who follow.  Do you see high productivity?  Energy and enthusiasm?  Cooperation rather than conflict?  Mutual respect and trust among the team members?  These are the fruits of effective leadership.

However, there is more than one way to achieve these benefits. Different leaders have different styles, depending on their backgrounds, personalities and values. Furthermore, great leaders are not necessarily born that way. Leaders need to grow into their roles. Goldin Leadership can help you learn new skills and adopt new behaviors that will make you a more successful leader. Coaching provides an efficient method for identifying your strengths and weaknesses in the leadership arena, and then focusing on specific areas for improvement.

  • Do you need better management skills?
We can guide you in adopting new strategies for delegation, supervision, conflict management, and performance assessment.
  • Are relationships a problem?
We'll help you improve your communication with peers, subordinates, and supervisors, show you how to defuse interpersonal conflicts, and develop your “emotional intelligence”.
  • Is team motivation an issue?
Inspiration is intentional, not accidental. Goldin Leadership can offer concrete suggestions on how to sell your vision to your group; how to be a champion your team members will be proud to follow.

Coaching begins with a one-on-one meeting to assess your professional needs and goals. We will work with you to define a personalized agreement that outlines mutual expectations, roles and responsibilities relative to the coaching partnership. Every engagement is tailored to the client's needs. We can coach you to improve your leadership performance in your current role, to prepare you for a future role with greater responsibility, or to help you acclimate to a new job and new company culture.

You'll normally meet with or communicate with your coach on a weekly or bimonthly basis, either in person or by phone. In between sessions, you'll work on individual assignments designed to accelerate growth and progress. Every coaching session focuses on your personal agenda and moves you closer to your goal of being a great leader.
